I am thinking about updating the look of my web site. Not because Michelle can't see the text, but just because my wife and I feel we need to push our abilities to the next level. We need to push our own envelope so to speak. My request is for anyone to post their own favorite photography site (as a link) and state what grabs you about it. What is it that makes it special to you. Is it the artwork? The web interface? The color scheme? The navigation? What makes a good site for a photographer to show their work? Personally I love David Hamilton's site. Though some find the subject matter questionable, I jsut love the layout, look and feel of the site very clean and professional. The site is http://www.david-hamilton.net/ then click on a language. This is the look I am speaking of. (There is no nudity at this point of his site) I would be grateful for your input. the baddest ass there is when it comes to photo, and photo illustration/manipulation. He doesn't use different photos to make some gigantic heap of something or other, he uses what's necessary and gets the point across in a somewhat minimalistic fashion, especially with Embrace the mutation... the site used to function better, but oh well.
