Does anyone know if there's a free (or purchaseable) plain texture that the author will let others use it for their own work? What I would like to see is someone making a free plain texture (no tattoos or anything) for anyone to use either commercially or just for free section. I know I can't make textures myself, but I sure can add tattoos and stuff. I wonder if that makes any sense? Probably not ;)

Lyrra has a selection of Mike textures called 'The Shades of Mike' that can be altered and given away as a freebie only if that helps.

Tim Laubach has an amazing collection of p4 fem textures at Happyworldland that are ok to modify and distribute (with credit to him) Thanks for the linkage Raven *grin*

It might work better if you distribute the tatoo maps as a tif with alpha, or PhotoShop layer, so folks could add them to their own favorite T-map.

Tiff or PNG with alpha channel works well for a tattoo.
As Nance stated, you could then apply them to your favorite texture.

Texture development kit for victoria by silverleifstudios,com i think they sell this over at poser pros . valentin uses them for his models he gives away as freebies.

Minerva has a lo res texture that is free to use in psd format.
