There are several from Stephen Ferguson. Sterlingware is a popular choice.

I think there are more freeware fractal programs than ones that cost money.
Fractals will always amaze me!

FractalVizion (FV) by Terry Gintz is one of the best free programs that features automatically generated fractals of many types. Julias, quats, IFS, Orbitals etc. You can DL from the eclectasy.com site.
