Dear friends, I'm sure you can help me in the following situation: I made a closed path with "Pen" tool and need to drag some points in different diections. But I don't remember how I did it before with "Direct Selection" Tool. Now I can drag only the whole path, i. e. move it and I need to move only one point a wee to correct the curve form. Please do help as I failed to find the reply in the manual. Grateful for your help, Anthony Junior.

The (black arrow) Path Selection Tool will move the selection. The (white arrow) Direct Selection Tool will move the point/lines between points.

if you want to move the handles so your moved point is right you may want to use a combination of the "convert point" (under pen) and the "white" mouse pointer.... you may want to turn on View _ show -target path and deselect the path. because you may have more than one selected when you move the one point. so this method of useage could be of some help > - almost all tools have an alternate use so when you click in the corner of the standard arrow shaped selection tool icon -the two options are "Path selection" and "direct selection" - some times to select a one particular point I click and drag over a particular point becasue some time the little squares I click on and I move a bit of the path between the points LOL ... so it's basicly method of operation.
