The real gem in this one is the article, "I Broke the Ice" by Timothy Brommer. It's an article about his first novel sale to a new publishing house, Runestone Hill. I went and looked up RH and found their site pretty interesting. Not many publishing houses will take unsolicited and/or unagented submissions, and they will. Keep in mind they are a small press, but right now they are looking for a Science Fiction title to complement the Fantasy work Mr. Brommer is putting out. So if any of you are SF writers looking for a break, go take a look at their submission guidelines and give it a shot. jon
