Is there a site anywhere with hi-res skin pictures that someone could at least practice assembly figure textures with. I don't have a digital camera, otherwise I'd take the pictures myself.

There's a photo set in the Marketplace, as it happens.

Try this site for reference images ..note that most of the them are NOT for commercial usage

Wow Lyrra, that is an amazing site! Do you think they could be used to create free textures, or do they specifically state somewhere that they are to be used only as references and not to be redistributed in any form? SnowS

thanks... that will be a great reference for p5's faceroom

After checking out fineart.sk, it seems like the pics are a little too small to be of much use in making high-res textures after all. It's still a great resource though, thanks very much for sharing it. :) SnowS

I found that site from here at Rosity ages and ages ago ... glad you like it :) All sorts of modeling tips in there as well ..anime proportaions and all sorts of odd stuff. Don't know how they feel about having the photos made into free textures ..I'd suggest asking the site manager.

It's a good reference... I don't think it would be suitable enough though to make textures from their photos
