Had a couple hours free today at work and scanned some negatives,( like 30 of em), for my folks. They are hardcore into geneology. The little cutie in the nurses uniform is my grandmothe. She is wearing the uniform cause my great grandfather was head surgeon at a hospital in Kansas City back then. Wishing they still had them streetcars. Sorry about the quality of this, but the negs are old and never stored properly. Had holes, scratches and spots everywhere. Had to copy my grandmother and paste her into a new layer. Erased around her then adjusted levels and contrast to bring her features out as she was well blown out. Not sure what format they were, something like 21/4x43/4. Promise not to bore ya'll again with family slideshows. L

Well personally I love stuff like this....the older the better as far as I'm concerned..... Looks the exposure on these was tough to correct? Feel free to share as much as you'd like.... what year is this from?

Guess I should say these were taken back I believe in 1919 or 1920.

You got that right Michelle, really tough exposure to correct. But a little easier then a few I had that were really bad. As far as older, well just remember you asked for em. L I have scads I am slowly working on scanning in. Some from mid 1800's on. Can't wait to get to my grandfathers from WWII. He's the one I got my passion for it from.
