work on textures is great! personally i'll make the right part (that with a lot of tubes and complicated machinery) of a dark metal with the shining blue rings.

Wow! Massive! Regarding the textures: How did you map those great red logo's? As for texture improvements: As I understand (from the image) the ship/maching is still new and being build on. So, maybe the metal parts should still be a little more shiney and slightly reflective?

If the ship is new and in the process of building then the ship textures are fine but if it's in for a refit then there should be some grime and scars on it. BTW, is it a ship or is it a weapon? If its a weapon I think the textures should be darker, more dangerous looking. I see it's called armageddon so it looks like one of those weapons of mass destruction that can't be found, hehehe. Great - one thing that I did notice was that there was no apparent control panels or panic buttons - what if during the building process something went wrong-rong-rongh ... click-whurrr ???? Also should there be some welding going on somewhere?
pidjy posted Tue, 06 May 2003 at 3:57 AM
Ha yes! I prepare some control panels and there will be some welding too!.. LOL@ catlin.. yes it look like a mass destruction weapon, but in fact this was built to protect the earth from a massive asteroid collision.. or maybe to turn a gazeous planet in an artificial sun.. I don't know yet... the answer will be in the next pic I think Thank you 4 your support
