Heheh, read your post and got reminded of the Sim game of years ago, Theme Hospital. Anyways.. Sounds like a weird redraw. Do you have any applications at the background on that panel's position which has that same "texture"?

You are not alone. There are several of this tha had this happen to but we arfraid to speak up. Curious Labs is of no help- they are part of the consirance I fear. We our support group group meet weekly at Area 51. Seriously, I actually had this happen a while back. Twice atually. I don't know why it did that, but the truth is out there.

Yes, the Joint Editor has always had this bug. When you've being using it too long or you got the Hierarchy window opened simultanuously, etc... My, advice: Use it. But, close it & save often! Nice Window! Marco

Well, that's weird because I frequently have both Hier and Joint Editor winodws open simultaneously.... and for long periods of time.... like an hour. If I'm using the Joint Editor, I always select body parts through the Hier window. 'Do you have any applications at the background on that panel's position which has that same "texture"?' Oh sure.... all my apps have tie 'n' dye interfaces! LOL. Nah, I just stick with plain, ole' vanilla for most apps. See y'all at Area 51 or in the Theme Hospital! mac

this happens to me when on laptop running remote control on my desktop, as only have 198m mem (or whatever that POS compaq laptop allowed) but have never had it on my 512m and updated 1g mem desktops. Mine actually messes up the File Edit Figure Object, etc menu also.

Are you absolutely certain that Elvis wasn't in the building?
Sometimes he wears a Bigfoot costume ....
"Ever notice how Elvis and Bigfoot are never seen together at the same time?"
