Here is my wip so far, just the main theme, (just poser figures, and a starburst created by Pidjy).. i disapointed myself after rendering it, (and other parts still on the way, I forgot that the challenges ask for a certain size images.. and i was making it to big..

I'll probably continue on the path i'm going and laugh at your silly rules and make what i want... and skrink it down to the size that is demanded.. unless someone has a better idea

This is the ultimate of Uncontrollable Forces... Faith... Faith drives people through all events. It causes both Peace, and War, peoples faith has grown so strong that nothing can or will keep it (or their actions) in check..

Cool. Needs work to not make the human look like a doll though.

Dragonsbld posted Sat, 10 May 2003 at 6:26 PM

Any Suggestions on how to fix that problem then? looking like a doll anyway..?

I think once you get more details around it, it may take away the 'doll' effect. One thing that I notice is that the skin tone on the human looks a little washed out. If the light is reduced that might take care of that and bring the skin tones out a little better and that too may help the 'doll' look. I also think it might look a little better to have the angel either a little higher or a little lower. Higher gives into the sterotyping that angels are higher beings, lower implies more of a guardingship and servitude, at least to me. But, without seeing more, it's hard to know if this will matter to the finished product. Now you have me wanting to see more! :o)

Good theme. There's a Christain 3d art thingie starting up on yahoo and I am considering setting up a web site for Biblical 3d renders.

Not to be sexist, but the Bible describes Angels as looking like "young men" when it describes them at all. But in the popular view, they tend to be women. Not a problem for me, really, either way. I like this wip very much, Dragonsbld.

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

No offence Eric, but I'm the last person that would go to a christain anything.. I don't like discussing religion, or politics, Ever... i just do what comes to mind..

However, you are right about that tj, most angels are described as young men, and in fact the angel in my wip was a man at first.. but Mike doesn't look heavenly, looks more like a brute then anything else(not even morphs helped) and the p4 dork didn't look right either, so I went with the poserette (no vicky in my arsonal)

and now the real reason i'm commenting once again.. I'm stumped.. I don't know what to add for the other two conners anymore.. I have the force of nature, and a supernatual creature.. but I can't think of anything else just yet..

There's still plenty of time to think about it. :^)
