Greetings All! I've been searching through the archives looking for waves and found this one; http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=35428 and one other that shows promise, but I was wondering if anyone has improved upon this? I want to make a large "North Shore" style wave, similar to the one that used to be on the Bryce 5 banner advert. Thanks!

The link doesn't work. first it doesn't have a forum ID and when I added Bryce Forum ID, I got: "sorry but that message seems to have been deleted."

Er, I'll find it again. I think I double clicked somewhere after "copying" the link. Bottom line, a search of "waves" gave a great number of hits, the thread was titled "Let's make some waves" or something to that effect... older post, too, somewhere in the "ought-ones" I'll go look...

We'll try this...scotttucker3d posted Tue, 13 May 2003 at 1:55 AM
I think if you just make a more massive profile of the one in the tutorial you will have your north shore bruiser. Just make the peak larger and further away from the base of the wave. Then totally sell the sheer size of the wave with appropriately scaled materials. The attached tut looks like a good one. Scott
