New at this, why do we need a seam guide? Marque
SnowSultan posted Tue, 06 June 2000 at 12:06 AM
Marque, seam guides help lining up textures or patterns that cross betwen the front and back halves of a 3D figure. They're not necessary when using solid colors, but they can be very helpful when aligning designs such as stripes on a shirt, accurately hiding areas using transparency maps, and so on. Some of the "seams" on this guide may seem useless at first (like the ones on the butt, teeth, etc.), but they may prove handy when painting highlights, tattoos or transparencies. I hope it does help out those who download it, and I appreciate the nice comments so far. Thank you very much! SnowS

That's really excellent SnowSultan. Thanks for taking the time and effort to do this - and even more thanks for making this (and the other excellent seam-guides) available Paul

Awesome! I love these. Please don't stop making them! I've all but given up trying to get my textures to match up. These are some of the most useful things I 've seen here, and that's saying a lot considering the talent at this forum.
