Does anyone know of a good plugin (or whatever) to create a shine effect? Something similar to a star. But not as plain. Something that can make an eye twinkle or a sword sparkle? I know someone at this god sent site has the answer I'm desperatly seeking. Come on guys and gals, help a newbee out, please?

You can try Lensflare in Filter - Render - Lensflare Or you can try oone of the brushes that come with photoshop, there are some that fit perfectly for what you're trying to achieve. Just do it one a separate layer and then you can even blur it a little so it's not as crisp. Hope this help.

make a new layer use the pencil tool to make a cross in the colour of your choice - make it longer than you need in the center use a diffuse setting in the paintbrush to add a dob of 'glow' use the eraser on a diffuse setting (I use the default '45' brush) to erase the cross from step one back a bit to give it feathered edges rotate about 50 degrees or so move into position on your pic! see my gallery for examples of this - eg "Red Monika" or "Magdalena" on page 2-ish by now

Thanks guys. SeanE, your pics are impressive, as I can tell they were done IRL, as opposed to being 100% computer generated. Not that poser, bryce, vue, ect art isnt art. But I always have a soft spot in my heart for the old fashioned pen and paper art. I love it all though. I just suck at digital art due to the vast anmount of money one seems to need to spend just to cloth the models. It's a racket. But the software artists and programming isnt easy , so they desearve their $15 for that victoria bra and panty set I suppose. It's just expensive. Thanks again and keep rendering.
