Yes, his stuff is flat amazing (imo). He hasn't posted anything new in quite a while, wish he would. Been thinking about getting his book. AS

Whoa! Where do such people hide? Fortunately, his site is not dead, although it appears so through sheer sloppiness. the real address is http://www.davidho.com/home.htm-- erlik
He uses Poser, Bryce and Photoshop mostly, I think. Disturbed and very talented. :^)

I love his work. I first saw his work on the HR Giger website. I bought his book - Shadow Maker - from the Renderosity marketplace. Well worth the money IMO. Arleen
There are a lot of things worse than dying, being afraid all the time would be one.
Yeah, but he gets a huge number of hits. I think his stuff isn't "easy" to look at, and not erotic in a traditional sense...nudity without titilation...so that may be why the small number of comments. Then again, most people may just be speechless or lack the proper words to describe his work. I used to post images to the Poser gallery as well as Bryce when I started out (if the image had a Poser object or subject, but 99% of the time I rendered in Bryce). The Poser gallery regulars (viewers, that is) were very uncomplimentary if they could see you rendered in Bryce, but weren't bothered by postwork. That attitude is even expressed in their gallery header. Sorry about the long post, but David Ho's site was one of the first I found when I got connected to the internet. I go to his site when I want some inspiration. I didn't even know he had any work posted here (D'oh!).

"Yeah, but he gets a huge number of hits" I know! That's what makes it worse! 1100 hits and only 9 comments! The miserable gits! That's barely one comment every 125 views! But yes, you're probably right. I still find it sad that I now hate the Poser gallery so much I almost never visit, yet I'm missing out on some this kind of stuff. I guess there's no real way around this... ...but it sure would be fun to post a few suggestions... >:]

David's work is superb! Thanks for pointing it out. Here are a couple of links to images that I personally feel outstrips the vast majority of hackneyed tripe I see in the poser gallery. Granted they are not technically perfect, what they lack in finish they compensate for with depth of feeling, expression and humanistic empathy. Even though the subjects are a bit of a downer, they can lift one with their artistic integrity. I feel that there is a certain lack of perspicacity and a meanness of spirit that pervades the general Poser audience, particularly when the Poser figures are rendered in Bryce. I often get the feeling that many of these folks have sublimated their childish curiosity about the human anatomy ( secretly fingering their *Cindy's* and *Action Men* whilst dressing and undressing them) into a pseudo-creative exercise in puerility. Thankfully! I stumbled upon Bryce before any other programme. I have yet to see in the supposedly *High End* software galleries the consistently high levels of Ingenuity, dexterity, daringness, flair, imagination, exploration, and not least, thoughtfulness! one finds amongst Brycers. Stay with it guys! the depths of Bryce are endless!Attached Link: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=175568&Start=1&Artist=achtung%5F333&ByArtist=Yes

Have you folks seen David Ho's work? Damn!! I've been amazed, stunned, floored, etc. by others' work before...but I am in complete AWE of David Ho. I'm blown away. I hope to one day reach that level of expertise and expression. Makes me want to quit!By the way, his images are in the Poser Gallery, so I'm assuming he uses mostly Poser (yes, I know I'm in the Bryce Forum lol).
