DD from PFO had one with a good map, but the one at 3DCafe has a better mesh.

You wouldn't want mine, anthony.... not even for free. LOL. I've been trying to get a new brain for years! Sorry about the lack of content. Just wanted to say 'hi' too. How's the book going? mac

Same here ... if I only had a brain, I'd provide the link. Just wanted to say "don't be a total stranger." Your contributions are missed.

Somebody named Middleton did a "slimy brain", the other one in my collection is probably from 3dcafe. Have you checked Greebo's boneyard? He had more than bones. Hope that you are doing well! Carolly

Thanks for the help, everyone, I have what I need. And thanks for the wonderful greetings and sentiments ;-). They are wonderful and truly appreciated. Honestly, since being laid off from Curious Labs, I've distanced myself from things Poser except that I do use P5 for some renderings. Given P5's lacklulster sales, the existence of Joe Grover's excellent video tutorials (www.3-axis.com), and the forthcoming DAZ Studio, I've decided not to write a Poser manual. This is no reflection on Curious Labs at all. I have nothing less than respect and admiration for everyone there. But given the current climate, I fear that writing a Poser manual would not be a commercial success at this time. I truly hope that changes for Poser 6. Heck, I hope there is a Poser 6 and that I get to work on it! For now, I am toying with doing a DAZ Studio book since it's "the next big thing". In fact, I've been after Dan Farr to hire me to write the manual. Again, this is no reflection on Curious Labs, just on my love of 3D and-bluntly- my mortgage statement. So any help convincing them would be much appreciated! Anthony H.

Oh, you're that guy! You're him! The Anthony of Legend! Do you nkow what sl (in keys) is for? Or even if it's an int or a bool? Or what MatrixActor is for (I know it's an ID ref). Or what the mysterious storageOffset and setGeomHandlerOffset stuff that doesn't seem to change anything no matter what you put there is for? You might be interested in my current effort to create a Perl module for parsing and manipulating Poser documents. I'm over halfway through with the output method! Heck, I'll model you a brain if you can answer all these kind of questions. I'll even make it have a fully posable brainstem and eyes on stanks if ya want! -- Dodgerlmckenzie posted Sat, 17 May 2003 at 1:56 PM

The slimy brain is here (link). There's also one that's not being used at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. - ducking neo-con fusillade :-)"Democracy is a pathetic belief in the collective wisdom of individual ignorance." - H. L. Mencken

Dodger, Bluntly, I have no interest in Poser right now except as a rendering tool. I had my fun in the thick of things for a while and now I'm into my own stuff. Lmckenzie: Thanks! ;-) Anthony H.
