Hey, I was hoping someone could help me out with/or has had similar probs with this: I've been trying to get a poser 4.0 figure, made in poser then exported as an .obj file to import correctly in to Carrara. Everything Imports fine, EXCEPT. The problem i'm running up against is that my figures head and neck are twisted to the right, but upon importing into carrera, the NECK polygon has reverted to a 0,0,0 position. Inotherwords, THEY DONT LINE UP RIGHT. This prob goes away if the head and neck of the char imported are both at 0,0,0 to start. This is a REAL problem, as my dead-as-a-door-nail corpse, doesnt look right staring straight up at the celing. Quite annoying. If anyone has had this problem and figured out a fix, i'd be VERY greatful! My eyes hurt and my necks damn sore from all the attempted repositions i've done in the last four hours. So please take kind pity on me, and lend a fellow graphix a hand. Tx to all who got this far, ~Cyn

Alright Cynical nature, give this a try. when exporting from P4, the first pop up menu appears (Export Range) leave the dafault and click ok. Second pop up screen (Hiarchy), leave the default and click ok. Now the last pop up after you click save check box 1,3,4,5 starting from the top then click ok. Now when importing into Carrara leave the default import menu pop up as Is, now If you wish to be able to select each body as you where able to in P4 select vertex primitive then select create a single polimesh, and thge last option select create one object per group. to do an figure as a hole select the last option and slect creat only one object.
