Hiya...after seing X2 I was inspired....this image is taking me a long time because I'm determined to do it right (unlike Halle Berry...) so anyway, I'm about 1/2 way there...I've still got her cape and the background (going to finally use Ravnheart's landscaping kit :) ) left yet but I wanted to get some feedback...I've redone the hair about 3 times now and I think I'm finally satisfied with it. So comments more than welcome :)

Very good...I agree with you. I don't care what anyone says...Iman would've been a better choice!

oooo Iman....you're right....Storm was a African Storm goddess before she joined the X-Men..Halle Berry just didn't pull of Storm's regalness at all Although she was less wussy in the second one..maybe by the third she'll get it right....

Right. This is the problem I have with the films. The X characters are from all over the globe. Besides Nightcrawler, the films don't represent the cultural diversity of the Xmen.

yes, you're right...well...i think they did with Collossus..brief as his appearance was...I think the movies did a great job with two exceptions..Storm and Mystique...Storm I can live with but Mystique...faugh! I'd still go see X2 again tho :D

Nice going and the hair is Great! I'd love to see someone do Nightcrawler, he's my favorite! Haven't seen X-2 yet but I will, mostly I'm waiting Return of The King (and hoping they will surprise us with the promise of The Hobbit!)

Do Night Crawler!! Do Night Crawler!!! There is already an awsome Wolverine at Animotions (Mike2 type, and in three colors!) - but only one Night Crawler but he's P3 I think, we need a cool, new Night Crawler....but a good Mistique would be cool too ;p Ya, do Mistique....no, Night Crawler....no, wait, do Mistique...no again, do Night Crawler...

Yeah any longtime X-men fan is gonna have a prob with the movies. The way they hodgepodged all the teams into one timeframe is irritating. I actually think it works better in the animated series "X-men evolution" though. I havn't read a marvel comic ( or frankly a new american comic from any publisher) since they took wolvies adamantium away... that oughta give ya some clue as ta how disgusted I was with the direction things were goin in the early 90s. Yup, the only US comics I ever read these days are reprints of 50s EC comics. Oh well your storm brought me back to the good old days for a while, and ditto on the not liking Halle barry as storm.

Very gorgeous. Halle is NOT Storm.

Angela Bassett would make a great Storm, just throw a white wig on her and she's good to go. I hope they will consider getting a new Storm for X-men 3...
AlleyKatArt posted Sun, 18 May 2003 at 5:08 AM
They won't. Halle signed on for all three X-Men films when she decided to do the second. Now, if there are MORE...

I always thought the chick who played the shape changer in StarTrek: The Undiscovered Country would have been a perfect Storm. She had that look about her.
Gwiz posted Mon, 19 May 2003 at 11:39 PM
Wasn't that Iman?
ElectricAardvark posted Tue, 20 May 2003 at 12:17 AM
heh...I guess your right. I had to look it up but, yep that's her. I've thought that since that movie came out.

Iman was also Eddie Murphy's queen in Micheal Jackson's 'Remember The Time Video'... Not to mention Mrs. David Bowie.
