Ok, I'm finally far enough along to ask for critiques on this. This is not a complete render but it's far enough along to let you see what I'm doing. I've got 7-8 radial lights, a couple of volumetric clouds, and DOF going and it's going to take forever to render it looks like. ~sigh~ Now I understand everyone's request for a new Bryce to have a faster renderer. So. The one thing I'm going to fix is pull the debris that's in the water on the right more towards the center. When I changed the lighting, it darkened that area and it can't be seen now. Something I'm not happy with is the way the tree on the left looks like it's in the cloud. They're not even close but the illusion is there. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? When I raise the cloud, it throws everything off for some reason, at least to my eye. If I lower the tree, will it look out of proportion to the other trees on that side then? Would it be better to change the camera angle so it's a little lower and looking up a little? (I guess I could lower *everything* to separate them...) Are there any critiques, suggestions, hints, bad words, good words for me? :o) As ever, I really appreciate everyone's input. Without it, I can't learn. Thanks! :o) Susan
