The program - Foldershow 0.90 beta.

It is - a PC folder slideshow utility. Select the folder, and Foldershow will display subsequent images with a gentle fade transition in between each one. The image on-screen time is adjustable, and randomisation of images is also possible.

This version is for 1024 and upward screen resolutions.

Faster processors (and smaller images) will give the best transition performance, as is to be expected.

Please feel free to try it out and let us know what you think.

Interesting.... It would be better if each picture faded out entirely instead of piling on top, though. The piling probably looks good when all pics are same size, but that isn't generally true.
