I'm going over some of my older Poser downloads and have come across some figures, in .pz3 format, that load in Poser 4, but not Poser 5. Poser asks for a geometry Obj file, but the download only includes the geometry Rsr file. Poser 4 will load the figure fine, but Poser 5 will not load the character without the OBJ file. Doubleclicking the PZ3 file doesn't solve the problem in Poser 5. Saving the figure as an Obj, in Poser 4, doesn't help even though it's the name that Poser 5 is looking for. Has anybody else found a way to resolve this problem?

Look in the Free Stuff for a little utility : RSR2OBJ by Anthony Appleyard (16/11/2002) it converts a rsr file to obj format hope it helps

i had a similar problem where i had the obj file installed for Poser4 and not for Poser5... so you may want to check and see if one of the models in the .pz3 may be dependent on an OBJ file that is installed in the runtime/geometery folder in your Poser 4 install, but not in the runtime/geometery folder in Poser 5. hope that helps... peace
