How about helping figure this out. Would you please check your skirt length morphs and let Eric from Zygote know what's what with yours (just post in this thread or below). It appears for several of us that the hip length morph won't work at all, and when you use the length morph for the 'body' it leaves the hip area unlengthened. Only 3 of us have reported problems--there must be dozens of you that have the update. Zygote has been unable to replicate the problem that we are having and they need more input as to who/how/what. Patch 118 Poser, Win 98, 256 meg of ram, PII 350. Left and right morphs work but the hip length doesn't, same as you guys.

Dido....skirt problems on MacG4/400/386megs Poser 4.0.2. Hip length doesn't work, ALSO check out the back of the skirt when playing with length !

The length morph works fine for me, but the front still flies up when I sit Vicki down. How does that part work for everyone? Doug Wheeler has been trying to help me.

This is Eric from Zygote, We have continued to work on this problem but we have been unable to replicate it on our end. We are testing on Mac g3s and multiple PCs running W98 (with the Poser patch). Please include info on . . . if you have the patched version of Poser or not, if you have any other figures in the scene and which parts of the skirt will not morph. Mac users are you having a problem with this? Are there people out there for whom the morph is working just fine? What are your details? We will get to the bottom of this one! We certainly appreciate all of your feedback! Thanks . . . Eric Allen Zygote Media Group

I have a blue & white G3 and a G3 powerbook. 256 and 192 MB Ram, 350 and 400 MHz drives respectively. Poser 4.0.2.118 on both. I don't have any problems with the skirt on either. Maybe its a PC and G4 problem. Good luck.

Im running Poser 4.0.2.118 on a G4 500MHz Mac. No problems here.

Like I said above, the length morph on the skirt works fine for me, but the skirt and the dress both fly up in the front when I sit Vickie down. I am running Win 98SE with Poser patched, version 4.0.2.118

There is a little fly-up on the skirt and dress when seated though it is much less. I had no problem with the length and the untuck. Had to load seperately and then transfer over to make it work for some reason. Power Mac 7300 with poser 4.18ish? Final from Ghost Effects ...

In addition to the info contained in the other thread, I've tried the "patched" skirt alone, with a single Vicki figure, as well as with multiple Vicki figures in the same scene. I've even tried mixing & matching new & old skirts. In each case the thigh length morphs work perfectly but the evil chuckle from the hip length morph is getting louder :-)

Pentium III-500, 256MB RAM, Win98SE, Poser build 4.0.2.118 Skirt I had problems with the hip morph not working on Vicky earlier so I tested it alone with nothing else present in scene, hip length does nothing in the negative or positive ranges. When body is selected, the length morph leaves the hip untouched. Skirt flies up in the middle with an -80 degree bend in the thighs, an inverted V shape. Dress hip morph works, body length works but the morph is really jagged on the bottom edge of the dress and gets worse as it gets longer, way before reaching the 1.0 mark. Dress also flies up in an inverted V shape at -80 degree bends in the thighs - a very gentle seated position.

forgot to mention that the soften hip morph on the skirt does not work either, it does on the dress

Thank Goddess. I was beginning to think I was the only one and that I had done some Poser evil unbeknownst to me--LOL. Diane B

I replied to the other thread, but I'll post here as well. I'm running a PII-450 with 256Mb, 2xHDD, Win98/Win2K dual boot, latest update (Poser 2.118). I've tried with the skirt and the dress conformed to Vickie, the skirt and the dress on their own, and with multiple instances of Vickie wearing either the skirt or the dress. Left and right thigh morphs work fine, but the hip morph doesn't do anything. Overall body morph increases the thigh lengths, but not the hip. Hip smoothing morph doesn't seem to do anything and when I seat Vickie, the skirt splits and rotates away from the body. However, I don't have the same problem with the dress which seems to work fine. Paul

I do think Chad said that the skirts would never work very well in a sitting position because of the way the geometry has to function (and Jim Burton has said similarly), but I will say that the dress works better (short) than it did before and can be 'fixed' in post. I just posted below, Paul--thinking that your dress length morphs don't work either. Must have misread it--your dress works okay, right?!? Diane B

Well, it doesn't explode when I make Vickie sit down grin but the hip morph doesn't work on it either Paul

I have Poser patched 4.02.118a, WIN98SE on Pentium-III 533. Hip length doesn't work. Btw, the mapping of the bikini bottom is still wrong in the update.

Eric from Zygote, Maybe this can help: I exported the hiplength morph from the .cr2 using Morphmanager 4 by Mr. X. When you import this as .obj in Poser, you can see that it is all messed up. The same thing with the LThigh and RThigh length morphs shows a normal picture. Yvo
