yeah it has something to do with the branches per segment because once you change it to 2 it straightens up.

I never I thought I'd see the day I'd see a bent tree in bryce. lol Great discovery!
TheBryster posted Tue, 20 May 2003 at 9:09 PM
This has great possibilities! You could create a walkway with these trees arching overhead in a garden...forget what you call it....ho hum....

Like a trellis? No wait, that's latticework, for grapes or something... Interesting, that bend is very subtle and very much sought after!

Innovator posted Wed, 21 May 2003 at 1:09 AM
awesome, that would be absolutely perfect if your were doing a scene showing high winds or an atomic blast where it bends the trees in that fashion. Thanks
tresamie posted Wed, 21 May 2003 at 1:54 AM
Also great for a seaside image...trees are always stunted and bent over there. Thanks for sharing! Tres

Aldaron posted Wed, 21 May 2003 at 8:46 AM
Also after you get the tree to bend then play with the trunk/branch thicknesses. You'll get some very interesting trees.

catlin_mc posted Wed, 21 May 2003 at 4:08 PM
Bikermouse it is the Scots who make the best scotch, the Irish are pretty good at it too but I've never heard of Welsh whisky........have you Bryster? Catlin
bikermouse posted Wed, 21 May 2003 at 4:22 PM
Actually I'm about a fifth Scotch, a jigger of Welsh and a half keg of Irish but I'd agree the Scotts make the best Whiskey - Welsh whiskey? Arggh perish the thought- I was just kidding.
TheBryster posted Wed, 21 May 2003 at 8:44 PM

Colette: Wonderful trees! Almost alien in nature, although you might want to think about putting the roots further into the ground.....thinking about it, this 'swamp' scene is almost primordial, the addition of a strange creature or two would make this pic complete!
