I've been looking to purchase texture collections from the Big Boys (marlin, dosch). Nice stuff, high prices, but not much volume.
I've always admired Image Cels' trees and plants as they really cut down on the poly count in Vue, and they look as good if not better than the actual vegetation.
But I wanted more - and it's birthday month here.
They offer a 'Professional Designer' CD collection of just about everything I wanted. High resolution, big selection, and volume. A little pricey for a hobby, but too cool to pass up. I emailed them with questions, but before I got an answer I went ahead and bought it. Next day they answerd and offered me a very good discount if I made the purchase.
Well, I missed that boat having already bought it.
This morning Customer Service let me know that they had credited my mastercard $50 to say thank you for my business.

Y'All got to go check them out - they really go the extra mile in these tough times. There's a few samples to download also.

These look great, but how in the world do you download the free samples? All it does is bring up a Quicktime image with no way that I can find to get the TIF file. What am I doing wrong? Melanie
