Finally got my homebuilt the way I want it, and now I want to transfer Bryce from one machine to another. The install/uninstall shouldn't be a problem, but what I want to do is copy my mats and skies to the other machine. From poking around in the folders, I believe what I'm seeing is 2 glomming-huge files that may be all of my mats, but not seperate mat files. I have all of my mats and skies (all 1,200+ of the beasties), but aside from actually writing down what's installed, is there an easier way to just copy over the actual mats loaded on the old machine? I'm just being lazy, I suppose..any thoughts would be appreciated..thanks

The best way...the SAFEST way to make sure you do not lose your mats, is to go into each catagory you want to save, select the top mat, hold down shift, and click the last mat, then export each catagory somewhere else on your hard drive. AS

It would be nice if you could just drag and drop out of the folders (like how Poser works). And, I have heard you can do this...but I must have done it wrong, cause it didn't work for me.... I'm just overall paranoid about losing any of Bryce stuff, I always go the safest route. AS

Theres also a nifty little utility called 'Intelli-mover', moves everything exactly the way it's setup on one computer to another computer, can't remember where I got mine, hmmmm....
