I can not find the Memory Dots. It shows that it is checked in Window menu, but damn if I can find it. Anyone ran into this?

Could be hidden underneath one of the other components or has been nastily moved off the visible display area of Poser. You may need to return to "Factory" settings in Preferences to get it visible again. BYS

Yup, that happened to me too. I had to do a clean reinstall to get everything normal again. Uninstall P5 Reinstall P5 Reboot Install figures patch Reboot Install SR2 Reboot Install SR3 Reboot Launch Set preferred state Shut down Restart P5

good god! new installation of fort knox security system isn't that complicated! :(

Yep lost em too, even after fresh install still no sign of them. But I have to admit that SR3 is a big improvement, I'm actually using Poser 5 more than PP4 now...

someone found those dots in the clothing room - seriously.

Yeh...I have memory dots in cloth room, material room, hair room, but none on the main page... There must be a way to find that in the pref files, or whatever...isn't most of Poser text based or XML ??? Instead of reinstalling everything...

Actually, now that I'm looking, my cloth and material rooms are all screwed up as well...looks like a re-install is forthcoming...bummer.. Has anyone done this and managed to copy over the original runtime to the new one???? I'd rather not link to the runtime I now have installed...

Install Sr2 ... also?
caulbox posted Sat, 24 May 2003 at 9:33 AM
I also find SR3 works great so far. But there's maybe a minor bug here. I had to use a screen display of 1600 x 1200 to get access to the dots when I first installed SR3.

I sometimes do not have a work area when P5 first boots up. I have to go to File, then New. Just trying to load a figure into the "void" hangs the program.
