Having read Orio's tutorial on Importing Xfrog into Vue, I decided to try it another way. This MIGHT be easier, if you are a regular Poser user- I exported plant models from the Xfrog 3.5 30 day Free Demo using 3DS. Then I opened the TIF leaf files only and saved the alpha channel only. This becomes an immediate Alpha Mask that poser needs. I then imported the 3DS plant models (one at a time) into Poser where, if you set up standard transparency settings with the TIF leaf transparency maps, you will get a great render of a Young Banana or a Red Japanese Maple. Save these as Poser files (PZR) and then IMPORT them into Vue. They are totally mapped correctly and ready to render. The advantage (at least for Poser and Vue users) is TWO models of each plant, all correctly mapped! I personally found this Xfrog import method easier since I use both Poser and Vue together all the time.
