I've been playing around with poser for a few days, and now i want to create my own conforming clothes for victoria. What i want to know is, apart from the 3d software ( i will be useing 3D studio Max 4.2 ) what else do i need and how do i go about it?
Any helpful infomation or links to tutorials would be very helpful indeed.
Any items i make that i think are worthy will be uploaded to free stuff.

Making conforming clothes is not an easy thing to do. I don't want to put you off, but it not only requires in-depth knowledge of 3d modelling, but also a LOT of poser hacking, experience with joint parameters, hierarchy order and so on.
If I were you, I'd start by making some props for poser, then progress to building them into figures, then go on to clothing. If you want to jump in at the deep end, go to the tutorials section here and look for tutes. I can point you to a copuple of different ones.

Don't want to discourage you, just let you know what you're in for.

Well, if I can understand it, anyone can. It's just a question of having the time to study it, and taking it a step at a time. Anything you need to know, you can always ask here. mac
