This would make a cool watercolor. Think I'd crop off the foreground, or next time have someone sitting there as a focal point.

As this challenge is about repeating patterns the focal point should be the fishingboats since they are the repeating pattern. But I could've cut off the lower part of the picture, you have a point there.

Yeah! nice shot, I think the comments are right, it needs a nice letterbox (long and thin) crop just to get the focus back on the pattern. The sailing boat is a nice touch and just adds an element of interest to the picture. :0 )

Ok, you convinced me :) I've cropped the image to take out the distracting elements.

Nice one 3Dguy and you cropped the RH side, good move the focus is really on the pattern now. One comment I will make and I know you have cropped your image, but that is the point, It is your image and no matter how many suggestions and stuff you get you should keep it yours. What am I trying to say? I guess sod off you lot, its my image and this is the way I like it. But I still like this one better LOL :0 )

In the end it is still my desision on how to present it, you're right in that. That doesn't mean that comments can't point me in a direction to present the image in a better way. I'm just an amateur and playing around with suggestions from other people help me make my pictures 'stronger'. In this case I saw what the effect was of cutting it down and was really pleased with the result.
I was just jesting when I placed my comment :) The actual endresult convinced me.
