Thip never forgets to offer his help to the rest of modelers or potentials ones who wish to start experiencing with their own skills! :) So in the same line of previous figures Quick suits, here comes now the one for Victoria 3. The QS's are freeware mesh bases for new clothing development. DAZ has kindly OK'ed the distribution of the QS's, so whenever this suit is used for the creation of clothing or other add-ons for the corresponding DAZ figure, there is no need to receive written permission or pay royalties to Thip or DAZ. Don't be surprised this is distributed from my site.. after all it IS RT-productions home as well ! :) Have fun downloading guys! :) Rena

Yay! tackle-hugs Thip and Rena I've been hoping Thip would make one of these. I tried, and well... we won't talk about that. ^_~

I don't have Vicky 3 yet. Are there other quick suits for other characters somewhere? It does look like a very useful item.

Thank you very much Rena and Thip!! The QS's are really big timesavers and very helpful. One or two years ago I bought the Quicksuit's for Mike and Vicky and was very pleased, but a QS for free is much better ;-) Robert

In PoserStyle's free stuff, there is a Quick Suit for Judy and Don, Stephanie, and a Mike base jacket.

Oh and the Michael and Vicky and the Poser QuickSuits are available for sale at Renderotica. Sorry, I always forget that because I don't shop there. But they seem worth the investment.

I'll get this right eventually, Thip's QuickSuits are also available at Animotions ... and that's all from me on the subject of QuickSuits.

But a person can't sell something they create...right?

pdxjims posted Mon, 26 May 2003 at 7:51 AM

Thip is one of the most generous of all modelers. His quicksuits are a great starting point for just about any piece of clothing. They're great for beginners to learn basic modeling technique and for a good starting point for just about any piece of clothing. I've even cut down the quicksuits to a single string of points and used them to create skirts and dresses. I was hoping he'd do a V3 one. Now how do I get it off my father's clunky old machine and onto mine so I can actually use it.... Thanks Rena and Thip! V3 Multi-Shirt is soon to be in the works!

Ming, you can sell stuff. Thip is a wonderful and generous person. :)

...but I have to create my own CR2 file?

lululee posted Mon, 26 May 2003 at 10:02 AM

Would you tell me where the quicksuits are at animotions. I was just there and couldn't find them. Thanks in advance

lululee posted Mon, 26 May 2003 at 10:07 AM

Ok, I found the quicksuits. I went to 'shop by artist" found thip and found the quicksuits. Next question, are there any free tutorials on how to use them or is it best to purchase the product with the tutorials? thanks in advance.

...but I have to create my own CR2 file? Yes, the quicksuits are just .OBJ meshes. You have to remodel them, group, and UVmap - then add a CR2 to conform them. But you can usually steal one of something else. :-) Thanks Thip and Rena. Now I can make Vicki 3 clothes, yippee!
