A month ago my old monitor was served out, so I had to break my savings and purchase new one. I elected "iiyama HM204DT" ( made in Japan ). After installation I found out the right half of the screen has got a little bit misty picture. iiyamas serviceman was not able to correct it, a reseller didnt want to take it back ( product is not out of order ) and iiyamas direction ( Germany ) answered: "Maybe you expect too much, a CRT is a CRT and will never create a perfect picture." ( ??? I used Sony with 22 flat screen in my previous job and it was O.K.! ) They ignored my explanations: I dont want "perfect picture", but only uniform sharpness over whole screens area. So Im sentenced to abuse my eyes for many years ( I havent got money to buy next one ). Ordinary man, as I am, has no chance against well-paid lawyers. SO AT LEAST: If you are decided to buy "iiyama" monitor ( I wont do that anymore ), check out it before you will pay, dont make the same mistake as Ive made! Regards.
