So, I followed the instructions given to me the other day, and they worked...however, now that my figure is in Bryce with thier textures, they aren't in the pose that I put them in...they are in that goofy crucifix pose they start out with, and thier props are all over the place. Could someone please give me some Idea as to what I am doing wrong...
One more thing, is there a way to bring an animation in Poser to Bryce?
Thx
Nick

Sounds like you imported the .obj from geometries instead of the .obj you exported?

Did you do File:Export...wavefront obj? Remember where the file went and use that one to import into Bryce.

That's what I am doing....and it's still screwed up..

If your figure is posed in Poser before you export, then it will come in fine to Bryce with its pose. Do it again and put it in a separate folder all by itself. Don't ungroup in Bryce. Use CTRL-click to select pieces if you want to fiddle with them in the Material Lab.

If you're using propack is is possible you selected the option 'as morph target' in the export options....don't do it... If that's not the case, I have seen it before, and have no idea why it does that occasionally.

BigNick - Do a web search for all of the words "Poser Bryce Import". You should find more than a few decent tutorials. Some are generic and some are Millennium character-specific. Once you have the 'recipe' down, it's not so angst-making. -Nancy.

Yeah, take the defaults on everything! on export (especially that last dialog..you don't need all the steenking body parts)

If you have Poser III, and don't have the ability to keep your texturing, checking that last box may make it easier to texture (a poor sod who had to..;) each part..;)
