I purchased the lovely English Ivy Character for V3 by Lisa Buckalew from DAZ (just couldn't resist). And eagerly went to put her in an image. But then happened this (image). Whenever I tried to pose her arms or hands she seemed to disintegrate. It was devastating. Maybe I did something wrong? I loaded V3, then injected the morphs, then posed her. I also tried to pose V3 first and inject the morphs after that. Nothing worked. I complained to DAZ (answer yet to come). And made a pic in which I worked around the problems as good as possible and repaired the rest in PW, just to cure my frustration (in my gallery). Has anyone the English Ivy too? And encountered similar problems? Or knows how...

Ack! Do you have IK on? Lisa

Also, do you have the latest V3 update? The last update fixed some of her scaling problems. English Ivy uses negative values of the "Stretch Arms" morph.

No, that was my first thought too.

Oh, cross posted. No, IK was turned off. And no, I haven't got the update. Where can I get it?

I thought it was on the V3 product page but I dont' see it there now. My V3 version is SR 1.1 -- I'm sure the folks at DAZ will be able to help you get the update for V3 tomorrow when they get back from the long weekend. Email me at lisab@daz3d.com if you have more questions. I'll be happy to try and help you get the most out of your English Ivy purchase. :) Lisa

Thank you very much. I'll try to get the update tomorrow. The character is really lovely, Lisa! And I had fun using her in an image even though the arms had their own mind. Beka

I'd suggest getting in contact with DAZ technical ... they can email you the update if needed. Simpler :)
