Seems like guns might be an interesting topic to take a look at in terms of modeling techniques and style. This is a general invitation to all modelers, using whatever modeling applications, to post wireframes of your arsenal here for us to all have a look at. Since this is bound to become a graphic intensive thread... I'd like to request that we keep a maximum width of images at 800 pixels and respect a maximum image size of 150kb. Greyscale wireframe renders are most welcome. - - - - - - - - - - **BIG FAT DISCLAIMER:**Please note that the focus of this thread is on modeling, and does not indicate that these models, or modelers, are in anyway promoting, and/or condoning, war, violence or armed conflict. - - - - - - - - - - Having said that... let's see what we can come up with. And it would also be nice if we could have a running count on the number of different meshes so far. Cheers! M

This is a double blaster turret (does it count as two?) modeled in Wings3D. It's obviously not the kind of gun you could carry. Depending how big it's scaled it can be mounted on anything from an armored car to a battleship. So far I've used it for defensive mounts on a space carrier (WIP) and as an armored car cannon in "Brycers siege on Coral Castle" (Renderwars.) Who knows, maybe I could mount it and some armor on one of my car models as a "Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Express Vehicle". LOL!

How about a modification on the M2 .50 cal into a Mk19 40mm Grenade machinegun? That's how the real-world MK19 started until the snicker Coast guard got ahold of it... and now it's just plain scary...
