I have followed an apparantly good tut for making clothes and conforming, but I still don't get it?! (Poser 4)
I have made a simple gown for both P4 man and woman just to see if I could make it. I have used the male/female overcoat.cr2 file for reference, which I believe is sufficient parameters for both gowns. I followed the tut to the end where I conformed, and then... zjoing! It looked like it exploded.
My gown, I see, has the same parameters now as the overcoat. But I see this, that when I load the gown it is placed higher than the overcoat. I believe that this has something to do with the scale of the obj file. After model I put it in UV mapper Pro and slice it, export it to import it in Carrara. Here I scale and fit the gown on a native Poser obj. After exporting it from here, it has the right size, but as I said it don't import to the right place in Poser. And I get distorted clothes.
I tried once before to make it around with PHI builder, with no luck. That was two years ago. I just abondoned the whole thing, but it is very anoying that I can not make this.
Please, some Poser guru, share your cleverness?
I have Amapi, Poser 4, Carrara, Strata, Bryce and UVMPro.
