Hello all... I know this has been done thousands of times before(I know I read and responded)Does it not just Piss ya off when someone tells ya that You need a high end Program to do the modeling in,I am just starting granted in Modeling clothes in Truespace6 and I whipped up this robe after deleteing the first three tries,Now This is just the rough draft with a default Truespace texture,I havent gone in and molded it around my Character yet heck I havent even Trianglated(Word?)it yet, after three deletions I came up with this in less then an hour and a half I was going to mold around my character and make this into a Civil War Generals Jacket adding a Photorealistic Texture after useing UVmapper I would have then brought into PSP applied the Photo to the Template added lighting and extra touches then brought into Poser5 and made Poserable in the set-up room and add a dozen or so Morphs through out the whole model,For just starting out doing Modeling in a non Bryce application which I might add I have taught all of this stuff to myself I have no Training in the computer Industry at all none I never went to school for this (wish I had Tho)I also Know that the rough draft of the model sucks and it needs alot of work but hey thats why I uploaded this so I could get feedback to see if I was heading in the right Direction,BUT to be told that my software isnt good enough for the job just teeeeeeeddddd me off,So now I am going to model this Jacket and I am going to make it Photo realistic,I am also going to make it Poseable with more then a dozen Morphs so you will be able to get really tweaked out Like from Lord of the Rings Robe to Matrix style...I can also Model this in G-max or MayaPLE....BUT I just Preferred to do it in Truespace because I was more familar with the Interface then Maya or Max...The bottom line is you can have the best Looking model in the world BUT if your Texture is Second Rate then your MODEL will look second rate...As always B3D
