Today I found this board here Image Thiefs and found there many images from Rosity where users with the name The Guarauder and Holly stealing images from the gallery here at Rosity and claim them as her own. One of my images is posted there too and Holly is claiming this as own :( Holly the thief and my image can be found in my gallery here at Rosity My image I also found an image from Ilona Holly the thief again there and many many more. I guess everybody take a look at this site to see if there any images posted I don't recognize to the real user :)

I got an email about this today and they evern used one of my images. The Guarauder used one of my Drow Elf images, and the kicker is the textures on the outift are ones I made myself that only my hubby and I are able to use cause they are on my HD Only I never gave them out or sold them. So grrr.. and I saw many others I am sure they took from here :( It is very sad and I am very pissed off about this.

Thats it Jurgen... I also got that e-mail...he got my "Pandora" and renamed it as Voluptuous vampire and said it was his. Its a shame that people take our hard work and take credit for this . There is another image from Renderosity there that I have seen here but cant remember who made this...

The only good thing is that smeone was honest enough to let us all know.. I believe Hannah , the person who sent me that e-mail, will take some action against it, but I really wanted to get into that forum and say ..hey stupid sweetie.. this image is mine, very mine..all mine! Beat it! Oh well...

I got the letter also. Found the entire forum and she has taken all the images down and is going to ban the two were posting them. Seems like a nice lady.

A Morrowind forum? For shame. I used to play that game a lot- it has a really active mod community... so you'd -think- people there would be adamant about giving credit where its due- especially since people who actually make mods like to make sure they get credit for doing it. Ah well, I've seen cases of people stealing other people's mods and passing it off as their own. Since game developers sometimes hire people who've made mods, there is a bit at stake... I'd love to see one of those mod-stealing jerks get hired, then let go, and sued for false representation, since they don't actually have any of the skills needed to make mods of their own. sigh in a perfect world, instant karma would always occur.

Yeah, my Bryce landscape was swiped also..... I believe the mods are going to take care of it. Not the first time, won't be the last.

Looking at how the images are being posted there, it seems worthwhile to let the admin here know that Renderosity bandwidth is being stolen too; the image links are to the image storage here at Renderosity.

You are so right Djeser.. we only thought about the images and you got to a very important thing... its not messing just with us... but with the big guys too!!! Look am I going nuts here and ready to go to the nut house.. or it feels like sort of family business... hehe Ikinda felt that way hehe

Well, none of my images were stolen :-( Guess I will have to work harder. I am glad that to know that this community cares about others, and that Gothic Angel is keeping his watchful eye out. By the way, I wouldn't really like to have my images stolen, and it upsets me to know that somone would actually do that. that is awfull! They might (though unlikely now)get away with stealing your images, but they can never steal your talent. >>caring hugs for everyone<< Jane.

Why do people do that? They must have some kind of severe personality disorder to want to claim credit for something they didn't do. I can't think of any other explanation.

this is why I got out of doing game mods. sorry got the girl above confused with the thief... her message is a bit odd... almost as if its funny. Well, its not funny to me. ... not when you've been promised money and then find out at times, supposed admins of such games think its funny to give the credit to someone else and stiff you for the money they promised. No more of that for me.

No hun.. its not funny at all.. my image was there.. I have all the reason to be upset... funny are those 3 guys from here... But I learned something in my life .. we better see the glass as half full then half empty... I was pissed enough to see that it happened.. but thank God there is people in life who can lift your spirit up in those times instead of making things grow worse in your life.. thats what I was talking about. the fact is.. that happened and wont be erased... it will be fixed.. and good thing is that is that it was found...they were busted so it can be stopped. It could be worse and its not.. so we better look things on their bright side. Other good thing... did you realize for all those messages above how people here watch out for each other? Isnt it a good thing. thats my point of view.. nothing odd if you see it trough my eyes... everything in life is about choice.. and my choice is to have a positive thinking about things (as much as I can).
