I realize this may have been covered somewhere else, and after all this time with Poser it should probably be obvious to me but I have never tried it before, but can someone tell me how to apply morphs from one figure to another -- ie, from millenium girl to victoria 2, or vice versa. Thanks!

There is apiece of software in the frestuff called morphmanager, which allows you to copy morph from one gharacter to another, this usually only works when the figures share the same geometry file. such as Victoria and Tenten, they both share the milwoman.obj, so those two figures can share morpsh, but not the Millenium girl and victoria because the geometry files are different.
Ask me a question, and I'll give you an answer.

Another way is to use Tailor. The results aren't exact, but you can get an approximate morphs target moved that way.

Morph Manager can only transfer morphs from a figure to another figure of the same type, ie. from one posette to another or from one vicki 2 to another. But that's a limitation of morphs, not MM. A morph target will only work on the specific body part of the figure it was designed for. If it's for Posette's leg, it won't go on her face. Likewise, posette's leg and vicki's are completely different. mac

Doing the fine points: MM4 WILL "copy" morphs between different figures - but the morphs will not work and may crash either the figure or Poser - but most likely do nothing. Every morph channel has a line = numbDeltas ##### The value in #### must be identical for a morph to work - it has to come that way - you can't just change the number. This is the actual number of points/verts for that group. When you apply a morph in Poser, these values are compared and if they do not match - you get a "it ain't gonna happen" message from Poser. MM4 does no checks, so wrong morphs will copy. The Tailor will "translate" morphs between different figures - not "copy" - but - it works best if the shape of the groups ( the cut) are about the same. This mostly limits it to translating shape morphs from a figure to the clothing for that figure.

To avoid these problems is exactly why the figures have to share the same OBJ file. I've used MM4 to copy morphs from one figure to another, and have experienced no problems whatsoever, every cr2 that I've used it with works perfectly fine, and all morphs work as they should, the only beef I got with it is that it copies the morphs reverse order, and that makes a specific morph a little hard to find.

Thanks to everyone for your help -- I tried MM4 for this particular use, and it works really well.
