I just rebuilt my system, and honestly, I'm nothing more than a hobbist with Poser. But for some reason, my figure isn't showing up when I start Poser. It's there when I scroll over it. But, it doesn't show up when I change it to wireframe or any of the other settings. Does any one have any suggestions? What am I missing? ~Sybir

Have you tried all of the different cameras? I have had a few occasions when I opened a file and the figure was completely off-camera. Trying to find the figure with the current camera is sometimes quite difficult, but flipping through the cameras usually finds the character.

I've never had this happen with the default character though, so if you aren't opening Poser via a saved file then this may not apply.

Good Luck

One of the first things to try when Poser does something weird with your figure is delete the RSR file in the Geometries folder (of course, this is only for Poser 4, as Pro Pack and P5 don't use the rsr's, as far as I know). The obj's rsr file is easily corruptable and Poser will rebuild the file if you delete it.
