I would like to see Witchblade type armor for both V3 and Mike. I realize it couldn't be an exact copy, but something close would be nice.:)

I second that wish! ;-)

i wanted to (and really can) make one but scared off by copyright problems, currently a semi-witchblade in the works for v3 as part of my sci-goth series but planning on putting her as a freebie, so not really slogging off on working it. there's a free witchblade char for P4 woman awhile back by predator2k .. but he sorta took it off .. there's a Darkness char by him somewhere in the r'osity freestuff last time i checked.

forgot to add: the darkness char is for mike, and it's really good, comes with his wings and stuff .. and for the non-witchblade/darkness fans, TheDarkness is the male counterpart to Witchblade ;)

Fatale: I saw yer gargoyle, and it rocks! gonna save money at the moment to get me all that new stuff I saw L Anyway, yeah, I can see that copyright issue clearly...but it could be labelled as some sort of exo armor /exo skeletton and maybe not resemble the Witchblade too much (no gems, etc.) ? Just my two cents of course s PS: That Darkness Char for Mike rocks, too g

Have a look at www.witchblade.com and you can see what we're talking about Nemirc.:) It really is cool, I prefer the comic one to the series one I think. Ya'll are right about Darkness, I've had that one for awhile, his wings can be removed and you can smart prop them to Victoria characters too. Ah well, 'tis but a wish. I have considered texturing V3's catsuit, but I can't get the real depth that an actual model gives you. One of the drawbacks of 2D in a 3D world. Oh and Fatale, love where you're going with your project!:)

I think I had seen that one before but I didn't know that was THE witchblade armor, hehehe. Looks pretty nice, although it would be a pain to model... at least for me :-p

the pain would be in the posing and rendering.. if you want it to look good, it's gotta be rather high-poly count, and will kill any non-high-ram computer .. ;) @nightwind: thanks, but I'm getting a bit behind schedule.. RL stuff lol Will try to post a WIP render by august, latest.

I don't think posing should be a big concern. It depends on whether you choose to make a "conforming" figure or a prop-based armor... You'd still have to take into consideration the "architecture" of the armor and pay heed to the bending parts...

yep .. I'm still trying to figure out conforming figures.. prop-based is ok for forearms and stuff, but gets funky around the shoulders.. what i'm worried about is the high poly count.. and I wont be making it to the exact witchblade.. will probably make it only partly in resemblance to it. I'll post here and keep you updated tho ;)
