I'm playing around with Poser 5 and for the life of me, I can't figure out how to apply a texture to Michael in Poser 5. I feel like such a moron, I can do it in 4 no problem. I looked through the manual but it seemed to concentrate on creating Materials instead of applying textures. Can some one have pity on a brain addled person? Ayrk

Most of the textures have MAT poses now, but if they don't, just go to the material room. In the material room, there will be a drop down menu (object) to choose your figure or prop, choose Mike. Next to that menu is the materials menu (all this on the brown pallette), choose each material, and then from the little plugs, you can create a new node, choose image map, and load your texture. You can apply to each part individually, or...do what I do. I choose a body part that uses the same map for the most parts of the body...like on Mike, I think that would be the head, and apply the head map. Now go to the node options menu and click selectg all, then apply to all. This will apply that map to the entire figure. Now go to the body parts that take the other map and set those up individually. This just saves time as Mike has 14 head materials that take the same map, and only 5 body materials.

Momcat, Thanks for the help. I knew it was in those settings but not exactly how to get to it. Thanks. Ayrk
