Subject: Retouching my mother

I found an old photo of my mother as young. It must have been from 1922 I think. The color was rather faint and there were lots of scratches and spots. It was fun to try to retouch it. I gave it a bit more color and at the end a little softing. What do you think of it? Did I do the right things?

It's a lovely photo gunsan. I think the proof in the pudding is that one cannot see what has been corrected. I think you did a bang-up job. I do a lot of these myself because I'm restoring tons of old photos and storing them on CD's for my many cousins. Restoring old photos is painstaking work but very rewarding. Good job.
