Well, after considering it for a while (a long while :P), I decided to give it a go... not my kind of car, but I think a lot of ppl will be interested in this one. Any comments, suggestions, or ideas are welcomed.
The wheels on the pic are just for show, and that's the model after some hours of work, so it still needs a lot of stuff to be done.

For ten different model of New Beetle: http://www.vwvortex.com/resources/gallery/vw/new_beetle/index.html I like the Turbo S wheels: http://www.vwvortex.com/resources/gallery/vw/new_beetle/nb_turbo_s/pages/01.html And you might want to consider the convertible: http://www.vwvortex.com/resources/gallery/vw/nd_convertible/index.html I'm almost giving up hope on the Old Beetle.lmacken posted Fri, 06 June 2003 at 1:58 AM
One other thing. When you get into the undercarriage, make the wheels spin, turn and bounce. That's so you can slam it to the ground.

Thanks for the links! the suspension idea is not bad, that can be easily done by setting a limit on lowering the body ;)

Sorry for the lack of updates, I just made a couple of quick renders to show how's it coming so far. Been working on my next car, wich is a Lexus SC430, soon to be released at DAZ. Gonna get back to work on the beetle, wich I hope I'll finish for next month, if I have the time.
