Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm considering the Universal Texture Converter, and would like to know how others have found it to be. Does there tend to be a lot of touching up after conversion? How extensively can you convert textures between figures? Can you convert, say, from Mike2 to V3 (male morph pak), from Vicky2 to P4, etc.? Comments from those who've tried it would be greatly appreciated. Take care; Chas

So far it only can convert V12 to v3 and back. say v-3 to a V2 It's pretty fast and remarkably easy to use. Now the rumor is that there will be future moduals to convert others but I havn't heard anything further. As far as touch ups, if you set al the resampling the right way , well I 'll say I haven't seen the need to touch up the finished convert.

It seems to depend on the texture being converted - a few minutes of touchup may be needed, but nothing too difficult. It is worth having. I am hoping the add-ons include catsuit to body conversion.

If the texture has very intricate tattoos, it may not work as well. I've heard a few complaints on that end, but I used it to convert a whole lot of V2 and V3 textures and they all came out great. I wish I knew when the Mike to Vicki expansion was coming. I'd love to get that.

The new Universal Texture Converter ROCKS! I've only had to do very minor touching up compaired to the original converter - And No More Memory Issues with Windoze98!! It's tons faster and doesn't complain about 4000x4000 textures anymore! There still is the small issue like Crescent says, but hey - it's science not magic ;p

What I love most about it are that it now makes Mat poses too :) I've never regretted getting it :)

I hesitated, then finally bought it. It has turned out to be an excellent program. Cheers to the designers.

Wish they'd find a Mac programmer to partner with and come out with a Mac version of it....I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

I've had pretty good results translating textures with tatoos as well. It can help to turn anti-aliasing off if they're coming out a bit blurry. I've used the original V2-V3 converter to put a tatoo on V3's back. She's hard to match seamlines on there, so I put it on V2s and then translated over. Easy as pie.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I was hoping it would convert Stephanie to V2 and/or Mike to V3 (male pak), because that's where my current needs are. Hopefully this is not too far in the future; thanks for saving me some disappointment for this point in time. Take care; Chas
