I was hoping that I could just download the Michael 2 CD stuff, but apparently it MUST be mailed. If I don't wanna wait, and just buy Michael 2.0 will I regret it? The clothes don't look THAT good, and I already have hair?

I think it depends on what style of art you are rendering. Clothing Pack 1 is a versitile pack for daily wear and the wedgecut is excellent (with quite a few third party morphs and textures in freestuff to expand it's usefulness) It's a pretty good deal, I'd say if you can wait for the CD, it's definitely the better buy. Make sure you pick up the Wonder Wedge too it you can afford it, it's also is an excellent expansion for the Wedgecut

You can purchase all the of the items on the Michael 2 CD as seperate items. I think there is a discount if you purchase the CD instead of each item but not sure you'd have to do the math. as for regreting it. I don't think you will regret it at all if you need a male poser figure. there is a lot of free stuff out there, and you may never actually need all the items on the CD. you could purchase them later as needed. I bought mike 2, I haven't bought all the stuff on the CD and haven't needed it all. Just depends on your needs I guess. Mike 2 is a great poser model and there is plenty to keep you buzy with just buying him. hope that helps a bit.

I never use clothes pack 1 or 2 myself. Go for the instant gratification and just get Mike 2. Spend the $20 you save on clothes you like for him. If you are a platnium club member that $20 could go a long way. I do like the wedgecut, but that's not the hair included with the Mike 2 CD (it was on the Mike 1 CD)

I went ahead and ordered the CD... bah! We SHOULD be allowed to download the items if we wish. I will play around with the military outfits I bought at PhilC's site until my Micheal shows up. Thanks for all the help.

Oh you know I downloaded the CD - I told them I live in Australia and they gave me all the stuff for the same price as a download. I got the morphing clothes pak and I love it. It's versitile. It's hard to find clothes that morph anywhere else on the net, so if you want to make him muscular (which we all do don't we) then you need to have morphing clothes unless you are a guru with the tailor or something. I have a mac so I can't have tailor or any other morph putting in stuff. I'm happy with michael and his clothes. Well I hope the CD doesn't take too long to get to you. You'll like it - I promise. Love Esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!

Mike 2 is a great figure, and a lot more versatile than people would have you believe. Considering the base model is a tall muscular guy, I have managed to make it look like David Bowie (a not so tall skinny guy) and myself (not so tall medium build). The clothing pack is great for every day clothes. Don't forget that you can add textures and change the material colours to give the clothes more options.

Yeah I really don't understand all the Mike always looks like Mike, statements.

Sounds nice. I recently ordered Mike 2 CD, not here yet. And i think the Clothing paks will be great for me. The thing with Victoria Clothing Pak, is that even the morphing skirts are not able to make a good Sitting pose, they get distorted. Why? Well anyways, besides that they are pretty awesome, so i expect mike to be great too and since he doesn't have a skirt i won't have to worry about sitting poses for dresses. MIKEEE!!!!!

Berserga, Mike always looks like Mike. Well, mostly. He's got a very strong face, and the morphs for him have to be really worked to bring his face away from the latern jaw look. In part it's a limitation of the mesh. The first thing to do is to set the Mike face morph to 0 and go from there.
