Damn' that is beautiful work bushi - very much puts me in mind of the Swooping Hawks (Warhammer 40K). I love that bio-mechanical look. I'm torn, I'd love to see this for Posette but I'd also like to see it for Vickie. On the whole, I think Posette would be the better bet, more people have her than Vickie. Paul

How hard would it be to do both? The wings (which are incredibly beautiful BTW) look to have been an incredible amount of work, but would the chest piece (this would be the only conforming part, correct?) be as bad? I don't really know how much difference there would have to be, so maybe I'm speaking out of turn here. Just a thought.

I don't know which to say since I would go for the both. But it is simply gorgeous!

oooooh! oooh! wow! anyway... now why does the chest piece have to be conformable? can't you just parent it to the chest? if it has shoulder or neck or abdomen pieces, then it would use conformity. and i would say conform to the standard p4 figure. if somebody needs it to conform to millie, they can just adjust the jps, no? (or send two cr2's, if you do it yourself.)
CharlieBrown posted Thu, 15 June 2000 at 12:16 PM
I say don't make it conform to any figure; I'd love to use these wings on a male (As LoboUK said, they look a LOT like the wings of Eldar Swooping Hawks - and the original texture you posted almost matches the "standard" color scheme for their Phoenix Lord as well) figure as well...

Please do it for the normal Poser character. I didn't have enuff money to buy vicki. I got poser for my birthday. I'm getting good at it though cuz I've had mono so I have lots of time to play with it.

This is stunning work, be proud. Chest plate...both if possible, otherwise posette, better for those who don't have Vicki.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. For those that asked about downloading them, they aren't available yet. I'll make an announcement when they are ready. CharlieBrown brought up a point I hadn't even concidered, using them with male figures. That's a head scratcher. It looks like putting them out as seperate parts with tops for all three may be the way to go. I'll also include a bunch of different textures for the feathers. I have 10 so far but I'll probably double that. A note to JAFO - Yes they are posable. You can see an example of this in the original WIP image. Here's the URL: http://bushi3d.com/images/MekAngelWIP.JPG The small central figure has one of the wings with the frame parts rotated. Thanks again!
