Would it be possible to have the option to hide individual threads in forums? It can be a little frustrating to see that there are new messages in a forum only to find they're in a thread that I no longer wish to follow. My guess is that it would probably be very complicated to set up but I didn't see any harm in asking.

Any opinions on this?

Wonders how long before someone replies "Hide this thread" ;)

Now this doesn't sound so bad of an idea...there are many threads I lose interest in. Hate having to scroll past the ones Im no longer interested in to get to the newer ones, or ones I still care about reading... ~Jani

Or, for that matter, I would like to be able to chose which threads to have be marked 'READ' when I'm plowing through a large forum like Maya, or modeling, so I can keep the ones that intrest me, and not have to read ALL before hitting the dreaded 'MARK ALL READ' button. I hate even entering a forum that has '428 new messages'!
