Hi all, this past weekend I went on a reference photo expedition, with Hubby in tow, to the Colorado National Monument. The Monument rises more than 2,000 feet above the Grand Valley of the Colorado River. Situtated at the edge of the Uncompaggre Uplift, the park is part of the greater Colorado Plateau, which also embraces the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Arches National Monument.

Check the link....I only uploaded 15 of the 350 photos I took but they'll give you an idea of the scope. This photo shows the edge on which I stood to get some of the other photos. We forgot the fall gear so I had to be extra careful...

BTW, I will be going on other perilous expeditions to get you the references and textures you need for your Bryce images....enjoy! ;)
