Hi all,

I'm creating an image of an overgrown ruin at this moment. In order to get tha I would love to get reverences and maybe even images that are usefull for creating textures of vines and plants growing over old walls (growing over rock would be usefull as well of course.)
I'm searching for stuff like this:
http://secure.daz3d.com/shop.php?op=itemdetails&item=1344

Maybe I should buy that texture pack while I haven't got the gargoyle hound :)

Anyway, I tried searching on this page:
http://images.fws.gov/
It's a great site with high resolution nature photographs but no luck.

If anyone knows sites of people who share digital photographs or other cool works, let me know!

Thanks,
Johannes

There are several people here in the Bryce forum that have sites with free texture downloads, check the header for Bryce related links, I think everyone has posted a link or two...
For vines check out Lemog

I posted a request for help some time back for ivy covered walls and nuski was nice enough to post images to do that with. Several others also posted ideas on how to get the same effect. I had good luck with nuski's images by using a terrains and drawing a viney shape and applying his images. Hope this helps some! :o) Susan

If you've got BR5, i believe there are some default transmapped vegetation grown textures in "Miscellaneous" I'm not sure how realistic they are, as i just discovered them a few days ago and have not used them in a work yet.

Yeah I know those, the are nice for background voilage (spheres, to et rid of too much sky by excample) But not really usefull for foreground work, well, I think I can do it with some textures and also some bryce trees, combined with postwork. Thanks for helping me though

Johannes - I also have an Ivy texture tile in the Winter Woodland collection, and an Ivy covered wall texture in the Ultimate Woodland 3 if you are still looking for simlar stuff.
