ok while trying to get some of my phy scripts working {due to the fact only some work} I went to curiouse labs and there is another patch that is out for propack. now when I went to install it ..it made a note of overrighting existing files..yadda yadda... here is the dumb question.. when I go to install that sucker do I have to take out all my files {or back up} such as my runtime library? or can I leave them in there unharmed?

No, you don't need to take anything out. The latest Propack release IS important for running scripts. When they talk about over-writing, they mean the CL sample scripts. Some of them are revised with each new release. Still, for safety you probably should make a backup of every file with the extension .PY or .PYC or .PYD. (In other words, copy .Py to some folder outside of Poser before installing.)
