...of the new renderosity look. I like some of the streamlining they did in the side columns, such as member options, software/topic/admin forums, etc...but I really need to figure out how to change the colors...hehe...at least the background. Overall I think it's looking pretty good though. MD

Same here MadDog31... The streamlining was an excellent improvement for sure. And for the most part it is pretty nice. To change your colors You would have to go to the top right... click on Member options -> My Profile -> Go! I think that is where you change your color scheme.

Background color sucks bigtime, I changed mine to a somewhat lighter shade of the side bars, at least it's not as glarey...

BTW, have you noticed you can no longer change the IM, link, and header colors? 8(

Yep, me too... after I changed the backgound to black, it's not so bad. I still prefer the old one, but... S.

Arrgh! I wish they hadn't changed the background to whitish, it kind of competes for attention when I look at the gallery. Well maybe I just need to get the hang of it. =)

I guess I'm just cranky...I changed the background and then you can't see the links that you have already visited. Logged out and came back, cleared my cache-still dark blue. Guess I'll come back when they get the bugs worked out.

They're working on the ability for you to change the links and IM colors as we speak..

Aside, did you know at 3dcommune you can also change the color of the header bar where their logo is as well as the bg and links? Wouldn't that be neat, we could design our own color scheme with the new logo!

Well I changed the background to black ok, but the bloody text colour has me beat. I can't remember what it was so now I've got this awful banana yellow coluor..Jeez, what waste of time.

Thanks, Zhann! But I settled on black back and a soft grey for now........what really bugs me is that you can't change the visted links colour and that really clashes.... BTW did you get that cd?

I like the logo, but the colors make me cry. I opened up Opera today and say a diarrhea and white monstrosity...

Zhann posted Tue, 17 June 2003 at 10:05 PM

You will be able to change link and IM colors as soon s they're finished coding them

I do hope so Zhann I really hat the link colors. For one, the pale green against the light b/g is illegible and with the black b/g I can't make out the visited links. It used to be that it didn't retain the different color on the links when you clicked on something else and I prefered that. Well I hope that at some point I will feel at home again. Catlin

hat=hate You see how upset I am..................8/

Zhann posted Tue, 17 June 2003 at 10:50 PM

Catlin, according to MindVision who designed the logo the bg color should be #1A1615, text color #B5AFAF...I changed mine to that and it quite comfortable on the eyes...still waiting for the link and IM color change capability...to see MV actual page check out the 'We need a new logo" thread, his concept was spot on..

Like the new layout and as soon as the colours for the links are sorted, it be fine, IMHO.

catlin_mc posted Wed, 18 June 2003 at 1:57 PM

Thanks Zhann I just changed it to what MindVision suggests and it looks ok. I think I'll stick with it and we can now change the link colour so that's an improvement. 8) Catlin

AT LAST! Something I can work with. I've got dark orange links and dark red visited links...that's a bit better......
